Thank you all for the amazing donations! Special shout-out to Mid-America Nazarene and Blue Valley Southwest NHS for their recent drives. We also appreciate the community response to a recent post on the NEXTDOOR app. Because of your generous donations, we have many new Huggable Healers to get ready for their new homes. Keep collecting, but we ask that for the time being, you hang on to additional donations to give us a chance to catch up on cleaning and tagging. We will be ready to accept more donations SOON!

What is Huggable Healers?

Based in Overland Park, Kansas, Huggable Healers is a Non-Profit Organization that collects and repurposes stuffed animals for Pediatric Patients at Olathe Medical Center and surrounding hospitals. All of our stuffed animals are donated with a “get well” message attached, and our mission is to brighten these patient’s days, one stuffed animal at a time.

Want to Donate Stuffed Animals?

We are accepting new and gently used stuffed animals! Don’t worry about washing them—that’s our job.

Just pack the stuffed animals into a box and drop off or send them to the following address:

While we love getting animals in all shapes and sizes, the perfect size is animals that can be cuddled and snuggled in a hospital cot or chair. Animals and squishmallows that measure 6-16 inches are ideal for our patients. We apologize that we cannot use animals with hard plastic, electronic components, or very large or small animals.
